Hard Rock is coming to Scottsdale in 2026
The Sydney, a Hard Rock Hotel by REVERB coming to Scottsdale

The sound of Scottsdale’s future just got a little louder. Hard Rock International has announced plans to open a REVERB by Hard Rock® hotel in Scottsdale, bringing its signature music-inspired experience to the heart of the city’s entertainment corridor.

Slated to open in late spring or early summer 2026, the 195-room hotel will anchor The Sydney, a new mixed-use development near the Loop 101 and Pima Road.

The hotel is being developed in partnership with ERES Capital and will be built on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Tribal land. With a rooftop bar, outdoor pool, coffee lounge, sound booths, co-working spaces, and music-themed common areas, the hotel aims to be more than just a place to sleep. They say it’s designed to be a community hub.

“We’re planning an amazing cultural hub for guests who love music, sports and exploring exciting places, all in the beautiful Sonoran Desert,” said Todd Hricko, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Hotel Development for Hard Rock International.

REVERB Scottsdale is part of a growing brand of lifestyle hotels designed for travelers who crave local flavor and music culture. The Scottsdale location will be one of the first in the U.S., joining other REVERB properties currently in development in Atlanta, Hamburg, Kalamazoo and Tampa.

Mike Elliott, CEO of ERES Companies, emphasized the importance of this project’s location and partnership. “Hard Rock International is a world-class music-inspired hospitality brand, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner on the REVERB by Hard Rock Scottsdale,” he said. “Our objective is to create inviting spaces for every traveler while honoring the rich cultural legacy of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.”

The five-story hotel will be designed by Gensler Architects, one of the world’s leading architectural firms. The broader Sydney development will also feature The Rustic, a live music restaurant concept from Texas, as well as Pickle & Social, golf simulators, outdoor green space for events, and a variety of dining and retail options.

From travelers looking for a fresh, music-infused stay to Scottsdale residents seeking a new favorite rooftop spot, REVERB by Hard Rock Scottsdale sounds like a lively addition to the community.
